Station Hand | De Rose Hill Station | SA

We have an exciting opportunity available for 2026! We are seeking a station hand at De Rose Hill Station, 350km south of Alice Springs, starting March 2026.

You will be based at De Rose Hill Station, 350km south of Alice Springs, SA.

Lyndavale Cattle Co is a family owned and operated business, producing organic rangeland beef across three cattle stations in Central Australia. We are a small, family orientated team and value people who have a good work ethic and are keen to learn. We pride ourselves in producing quiet, quality cattle. 

Main responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

📍 Cattle work

📍 Bore runs

📍 General property maintenance

📍 Machinery operation

📍 Maintaining fences

📍 Infrastructure improvements

📍 Keeping workshop tidy and orderly

✅ Experience on cattle station preferred

✅ Manual driver’s licence

✅ HC or MC licence desirable

✅ Mechanical and welding skills

✅ Must have initiative and be able to work both independently and as part of a small, close-knit team

✅ Applicants must be flexible, honest and tidy.

• This position is for an individual with a starting date March 2026.

• Remuneration will be based on experience and includes meals and accommodation, work vehicle, internet and utilities.

• Lyndavale Cattle Co offers several training opportunities to further develop your skills throughout the year.

• We do not use horses.
